The story behind the name

A class of boat designed by Norwegian Johan Anker as a keelboat with a simple cabin. The Dragon (Drachen in German) is recognised by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) as an international keel boat class and was sailed as an Olympic class from 1948 to 1968. In regattas the Dragon is a 3-man boat. There is a half model specially handcrafted for us in the cabin.
